The VCM‑I small tape‑casting coater is designed for preparing various films and ensures excellent film‑forming uniformity. Its unique drive system propels an adjustable doctor‑blade to move, enabling smooth and homogeneous fabrication of films made from diverse materials. The substrate is held flat on an aluminum vacuum chuck via vacuum suction.

This unit is equipped with a 150 mm‑wide doctor‑blade; the gap between blade and substrate can be adjusted by a micrometer. Top‑side heating or bottom‑side heating is optional for drying wet coated films. The maximum heating temperature reaches 150 ℃ with a temperature control accuracy of ±1 ℃. It is especially suitable for fabricating lithium‑ion battery electrode films, ceramic films, polymer films and other similar materials.
