The VCM‑II is an automatic laboratory vacuum coater manufactured by Nanjing Chishun Technology. Film thickness is adjusted via a micrometer film applicator. The substrate is secured by vacuum suction to prevent wrinkling for smooth coating operations. A moving push rod travels at constant speed to ensure uniform slurry coating on substrates. It is highly suitable for lithium‑ion battery electrode preparation and delivers consistent density for cathode and anode materials. It can also be used for high‑temperature polymer films and conductive ceramic films.

For small‑volume coating jobs, a four‑sided film applicator is available as an option. Effective coating width: 80 mm. Four fixed gap thickness: 5 μm, 10 μm, 15 μm, 20 μm.
