The JM‑Series Electric‑Lifting Stirred Ball Mill is vertical‑type equipment for wet‑process superfine stirring and grinding. It is mainly composed of stationary grinding cylinder (filled with grinding media), stirring‑transmission assembly, electric lifting mechanism, tilting mechanism, cooling jacket and variable‑frequency electric control system. Circulation and transfer pump assemblies are available as optional accessories.
Featuring high grinding efficiency and fine output particle size, this mill can simulate process parameters for industrial‑scale production. Characterized by small‑batch trial capacity and low power consumption, it is dedicated equipment for universities, research institutes and advanced‑material enterprises to develop comminution processes, conduct formula tests and carry out small‑batch pilot‑scale production.
It supports electric lifting of the stirring shaft and manual tilting of the grinding barrel, facilitating material loading/unloading, grinding‑media replacement, cleaning and maintenance. The grinding cylinder is fitted with a cooling jacket for grinding‑temperature control. Customizable materials for grinding cylinder and stirring components are offered to avoid metallic contamination of samples. Its electric control unit integrates variable‑frequency speed regulation and timing functions, supporting both intermittent and continuous‑mode grinding.
Main
Features
High
energy‑utilization ratio, high power density, superior grinding efficiency and
remarkable energy‑saving performance. ‑ Flexible particle‑size adjustment:
finished particle size can be controlled by modifying rotation speed,
proportion of grinding‑media specifications and material residence time inside
the cylinder. ‑ Low running vibration, low noise, robust overall structure,
simple maintenance and effortless operation. ‑ Electric‑lifting design:
automatic lifting of stirring shaft; grinding barrel can be freely tilted for
easy material change and cleaning. ‑ Water‑cooled jacket structure dissipates
heat generated during grinding, suitable for heat‑sensitive materials. ‑
Optional materials for grinding cylinder and stirring components: stainless
steel, zirconia, corundum, polyurethane, PTFE and nylon to prevent sample
contamination. ‑ Custom special functions are available on request, including
timing, speed adjustment, circulating grinding, temperature measurement &
control. ‑ Models JM‑15L and above are equipped with discharge valves; transfer
pump is optional for continuous feed‑in grinding.
Application
Fields
It is
widely used for wet‑process superfine‑grinding tests and small‑batch production
of zirconium silicate, zirconia, alumina, ceramic raw materials, chemical
powder, electronic materials, magnetic materials, papermaking, coatings, non‑metallic
minerals, new materials, paints, graphite,
calcium carbonate, pharmaceuticals and other industries.
Working Principle
The main spindle drives the stirrer to
rotate at high speed, forcing grinding media inside the cylinder to move in
three‑dimensional random trajectories. High‑frequency collision, compression,
friction and shear forces among grinding media crush and finely mill raw
materials.
Grinding performance depends on grinding‑media
specifications: larger grinding media produce coarser output particles; smaller
grinding media deliver finer products. Optimized combination of different‑size
grinding media together with rotation‑speed adjustment achieves superior
superfine grinding results.
